For Teachers
When your class takes a field trip, challenge them to find evidence of math around them. Print copies of the “Where’s the Math?” sheet and use your students’ answers as a springboard for math conversations and/or lessons when you arrive back at school. Also, please contact us with your ideas.

A recent search request for “elementary math” on the Internet resulted in 6,710,000 sites! An assumption was made that busy teachers do not have the time to peruse the vast number of sites available, and below is a concise list of some of the best that were found.

Your 2 Cents
What is your favorite way to show students “real” math either inside or outside of your classroom?
This section is devoted to your feedback. The more we hear from real people across New Hampshire, the more useful and interesting this site will be. Take advantage of the chance to add your 2 cents, and please be sure to include your name, the grade you teach, and the town in which you teach.
